Federation Republic, History in its 2nd Legacy

Federation Republic was once again a clan when the first Commanding Officer decided to merge into FEDF. Lord Alexander along with Kirk, Keys, The Protector and Electro reformed FR and was immediately declared war on by FEDF on the grounds of stealing membership.

 

Commander In Chief Alexander could only respond by using diplomatic tactics as FR was not in any shape to battle with a clan that was well established. After 3 days the leaders at FEDF and Lord Alexander signed an agreement to end the war on a mutual basis. After this short period FR would go to grow in all Star Trek Games, form a structured Fleet Constitution, and have each department staffed with members.

 

Leaders to note at this time were Fleet Executive Officer The Protector, which was forced to go on military leave for the conflict in Afghanistan, at this point MSP2887 was appointed to fulfill his shoes. FR did have a council at this time, but like most clans the council’s power was very limited and relied on the consent of the CIC.

 

In its first JAG Trial, Division Admiral Keys was demoted to the rank of Captain for conduct unbecoming of an officer, and later resigned from the clan. CIC Lord Alexander removed MSP as Fleet XO do to the fact that his activity level was not at the level it should have been. The XO seat was vacant, with Kirk and Electro helping out with command duties. Months later Death was appointed Fleet XO.

 

Interesting to note, that FR was one of the first clans to expand into Non Trek gaming and combine military games into one. However the effort needed to maintain this enormous expansion could not be achieved and later died off into the sunset. Now the legacy of FR in its second rebirth comes near to an end.

 

Commander-In-Chief Lord Alexander, made the last executive order to merge FR into Red Squadrons, and as they say history repeats itself and that it did. An un-approving Vice Admiral Electro heard out members that did not want to merge into RS, and decided like Lord Alexander did months before that to keep FR open. By doing this proclaimed leadership of FR.

 

And so the legacy lives on...

Federation Republic, History in its 3rd Legacy

Mr. Electro as noted above took over leadership of FR. With the help of many and with time on his side, he successfully expanded FR into the non-trek gaming aspect of clans. He built the BF 1942 Division so that at one point it had over 50 members. FR Command approved the plan to open another division later on to be the Call of Duty division.

 

However as time went on - as is the case with many in gaming communities - people came and people went.  FR was no exception to this.  With the BF 1942 division in shambles, the new CoD division stepped up to the plate and assisted the BF Division to regain it's strength and again become a worthy division.

 

Shortly after Electro took leadership of FR, he appointed a then Admiral Ronzo to be the Executive Officer of the community.  No one in the history of FR has spent more time and personal resources then he to see this clan grow. With the help of others: Rotten, Slaughter, Dog Meat and Newbie as well as others (to many to mention)  FR once again, grew. With divisions then in BF 1942, CoD, DoD, Half-Life and Star Trek FR seemed to be a massive clan one that other clans admired and respected. However with changes in the personal lives of it's members FR was forced to reduced it's divisions to only BF and CoD. With the exception of Counter-Strike which was added a short while ago.

FR has always maintained that it was created for it's members to have fun.  With it's reputation in the gaming community and respect for other clans it has earned the admiration of many.  FR will continue to survive in the years ahead, adapting itself to the needs of online gamers.  It will meet the challenges thrown upon it today and will over come them tomorrow.  It will continue to grow, expanding it's members horizons, imaginations and appreciation for hard work.

 

And so the legacy continues to live on...
