The Eleventh was originally established December 13, 1996, or rather it's outline, which was established in the forums of the East Wing of the Chathouse at www.chathouse.com. Much of the Fleet's backstory and traditions were established in those post-style forums. Overtime, the Spartan Vanguard found its focus shifting from role playing within the The Next Generation universe, to the realtime strategy game, Star Trek: Armada.
The Fleet met its first great success in Armada and encountered the only organization who would rival the Fleet for the next several years, Iron Fist or commonly known as [IF]. Though over time, the Fleet's participation thinned within the original game, it did, however, find a strong acceptance and officerbase on Won.net. Overtime, the Fleet found its activity diminished and ranks thinning.
With the release of Star Trek: Armada II, the original Admiralty recommissioned the Fleet on Gamespy, and immediately commissioned numerous officers of great potential. With many long hours of tactical and strategic training, as well as tactical analysis of all known vessels and races, the Fleet's officer base soon became recognized for superior skill and agression. Many of these first recruits would come to be known in the Armada II community as Riker, Sisko, Data and Armor.
With the releases of Star Trek: Bridge Commander and Star Trek: Elite Force II, several in the Armada II division also invested in the simulator and first person shooter, where they immediately began honing their skills to the specifics of each game. Though the Fleet never found strong acceptance in the relatively small communities, it can be said that several highly skill players were trained in those sectors of gameplay.
The Fleet has also seen a cycle of surges in activity, focused primarily in Armada II and now Starfleet Command III. Much of which revolves around the actual communites. Currently the Fleet is leading a charge to reform its public image and is becomming widely agreed upon to be the most dignified and honorable organization in Armada II, boosting numerous highly skilled players.
This July, one year previously, the Spartan Vanguard also set forth on an expansionistic venture into Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. The first Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game entered into by the Vanguard. The Spartan Vanguard met great success and renown on the Intrepid Server of Galaxies. However, environmental and communial malignancies soon brought the Vanguard to faulter. The insuing tensions between members of the Administration was a long sad chapter in the brotherhood of the Vanguard. But has begun to be resolved successfully, and both parties are looking forward to a bright future together once again, as brothers and Spartans!

Following the decline of Trek Gaming, the Eleventh Fleet has expanded into a variety of different genres, including Command and Conquer 3, Battlefield 2142 and Call of Duty 4.
The fact of the matter is that new methods were tried, in the hope of allowing us to incorporate WOW into our clan's divisions. Unfortunately, this was an unsuccessful venture and lead to a rift in the fleet, resulting in ultimatums being delivered and command of the "Star Trek" side of the fleet being passed on to Ramius, with SteH as his XO.
As the Star Trek side of the fleet began to rebuild itself, Peers began to feel that control was slipping away from him and in that belief he was right. This lead to the fleet being split into two separate clans; The Eleventh Fleet and Spartan Vanguard.
After this split, the fleet endured, maintaining it's "former glory" until it was hit by a series of incidents, ranging from internal complaints to mutinies to the faking of Adm Armor's death, with the aid of Adm Bishop. I'm sure that many of you can remember this latter event, causing as it did such response among the community.
Since then, small pockets have left, going their own way by forming new clans, some similar, some very different. But what you see now, what represented is The Eleventh Fleet, the clan that you all know and have gamed with, the clan that has been the most powerful clan in Trek gaming and the clan that, even after ten years, is maintaining it's traditions and preparing itself for at least another ten.
In our present state, we are a Trek clan, albeit not the size we once were, but of the heart and honor that made us Eleventh Fleet officers. Since Peers's day, we have expanded ourselves into many other areas of gaming, including HALO, Battlefield 2, Star Wars and Guild Wars. I might add that this final game is an online RPG and the division is flourishing due to lessons learned from Peers' actions and the willingness of the Command Staff to listen to the members and develop the clan into what the members want. We serve the fleet and guide it, not as Viktor is suggesting, suppressing the members and commanding them.
Listed below is a current listing of all the Eleventh Fleet Admiralty AKA "The Brass".
