The eXtreme Gaming Community was created as an alternative to the drama-based clans and communities that ruin gaming. Founded in February 2006 by Sun Tzu, XG has become a place where true, mature gamers can come together and enjoy gaming, as well as develop friendships.

The Leadership of XG, known as the Council, is comprised of some of the most experienced leaders to ever enter the gaming world. They have a combined experience of over 30 years between them, as well as other non-council leaders.

XG has fought for its place in the gaming world. In the beginning, many communities attempted to destroy or severely cripple XG, because many gamers were drawn to the gaming-freedom XG provided. In all situations that were unfavorable for XG, the community prevailed and grew stronger because of it. This is because of the strong membership as well as the stable leadership. No force is able to destroy XG. None have prevailed, and none shall.

Our community has reached its 6th Year Anniversary. XG has risen to a maximum of 350 members during this time, with major growth as well as negative decreases in Our Membership, Our Community has thrived. Our Community offers Stable resources, including a TeamSpeak Server and Gaming Servers as well as Merchandise, FTP and Email Servers.

We have a well-organized staff that stabilizes the Community and takes care of all administrative issues. Most of all, we offer a place to create friendships between Full-Time Gamers and Part-Time Gamers alike. We are a place where gamers can come together, relax, and have fun. Our current sitting President, Rammstein, continues to uphold the values that make this Community great.

Rules/Regulations (Circa February 2006):

  • Show up, help out, and have fun each week with the clan.
  • NO cheating, hacking, or foul language is permitted.
  • Always treat people fairly and act civil and human to friendly people.
  • You can't be in any other clans, guilds, squadrons, etc.
  • Always play on the same team as one team, whenever possible.
  • If you are going to be gone a long time be polite, post it on the message board.
  • If you don't show up or post any "I am still alive" messages with in 6 weeks, you will be taken off the Roster.
  • Everyone should expect to spend 10% of their "internet time", helping out the clan.

Clan Tag Layout...

The clan tag will be separated in three different categories. This will help to discern from the high council members, regular members, and new recruits of the eXtreme Gaming Clan. Please follow this format as it is the easiest way for the recruitment department to do their job for the clan.

High Council Members:

[-XG-] (Name Here)

Members:

~(XG)~ (Name Here)

New Recruits:

=XG= (Name Here)

Healthy Structure...
The reason for laying out rules for our members, is so the public has an idea of the way this clan plays and acts both in and out of game. We also do this to bring a sort of structure to the [-XG-] so our members know who the leaders are as well as how the leaders expect them to act while gaming under the banner of the [-XG-]

Rules of RolePlaying...
Seeing as how some of our members are fond of Roleplaying, we have decided to set up a list of rules and regulations to play by when taking part in an [-XG-] Roleplay session.

Bridge Commander:

  • Do your best to stay in character and alive so that the RPG story doesn't stray from the original plot.
  • No God ships, unless its in the plot. For Example a Borg Invasion upon the Sol system.
  • Reenactments of historic battles must be followed with precision and not altered in anyway such as the battle between Chang and Kirk.
  • For security precautions, it is advised that you password your game to keep the public menaces from entering and causing trouble.

Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force:

  • Stay in character do not switch from Klingon to Borg, to Klingon again. That just makes the RPG annoying.
  • When downloading multiplayer maps, make sure to post a link in the forums so that everyone's map packs are the same.
  • Try to avoid using godly weapons such as the Torpedo Launcher or Forge Welder, etc...
  • If you're human, be on the same team as other humans nothing irritates Roleplayers more than a Klingon playing on the same team as Romulans.

Server Conduct:

First Person Shooters (EX. ST: Elite Force)

  • When entering a server, ask for the rules of the server. If you receive no response from the server master, just continue to play the game.

Simulations (EX. Bridge Commander)

  • When entering the server ask the rules as well as what's allowed and what is not such as tractoring, launching shuttles, etc...

Strategy Based (EX. Armada)

  • Ask politely to face someone in a friendly game, also be polite and if you have the faster connection host the game, to prevent lag from both you or your rival player.

  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic
